These ankle-high, felt, cork and leather (foot bed and soles) slippers are in fantastic shape after 2 years of use, primarily in winter (Northeast). They are in a category of their own compared with almost any other men's slippers (including the most expensive brands). The felt is quite thick, has not pilled or "frizzled" much at all, the stitching around the sole is perfect, the foot bed and sole are still very comfortable and in excellent shape. They have retained their shape, have not spread out or sagged like all other slippers I've owned, and the leather sole has become shiny but is not worn. I have walked outside in them on occasion, even in the snow (powdery- it's 7F here at the moment), on hardwood floors and concrete out in the shop. My wife has another style and hers are in perfect shape as well. They are worth more than every penny you'll spend. There is an expansion-cut backed by elastic ribbon on the inside at the ankle bone which makes putting them on easy, without distorting the opening. I can't recommend these slippers enough!
